7 track mini-album culled from the sessions for the forthcoming “The Wild Honey Collective Volume 3” LP.
In the spirit of the music-as-community ethos on which The Wild Honey Collective (and GTG Records, for that matter) was founded, this release spotlights four favorite songwriter/songwriting teams of the band, ranging from the cult favorite Lansing space rock band Calliope (“Told You So”), the legendary underrated Canadian-Americana singer-songwriter Fred Eaglesmith (“Katie”), the current rising Michigan multi-instrumentalist/ artist/ writer/ producer Michael Dause (“Marquette Bay”) and the perennial rootsy headcases Grateful Dead (“Ripple”) alongside some new original instrumental pieces.
